The Conference was held at the Marriott hotel – a stone’s throw from Liverpool Lime Street Station. It featured TTF working group meetings, keynote speakers from government and academia, and a range of updates on TTF activities and wider transport technology innovations. The virtual exhibition hall is still available and features information on a variety of TTF partner organisations.
The six TTF Working Groups cover signal phase and timing, Mobility as a Service, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, open data, Urban Traffic Management and Control (UTMC) and smart parking. Also, TTF partner ITS (UK) hosted its Annual General Meeting at the Marriott, allowing the ITS community to attend two important events in one.
“Following the strong attendance of our first post-covid in-person event – the Congestion Challenge -in York last October we’re expecting a big turn-out for our 2022 Annual conference,” said TTF independent chair Steve Gooding, “the first in person Annual Conference since Bristol in 2020, and set to offer even more in terms of sharing ideas and experience, inspiring fresh thinking, making new connections, and catching-up with contacts across the sector.”
